Canton ruined her life 7 years ago and she's been on the run ever since. Constantly looking over her shoulder and making sure not to get too close to anyone. Until Axel that is. He became her best friend and protector. He taught her so much, and trained her to submit, while caring to her needs. She loved him, but never fell "in love" with him. But he met the love of his life, and has left to go to England for a while, and ended their Dom/sub "relationship". Stone felt he was the perfect man to fill Lily's needS. She needed a new protector, and he knew he had to have her.
I just LOVE Shayla Black! I think everything she writes is amazing! I have to admit though, that I didn't know she had continued the "wicked ties" series, and this is the 11th book! Man do I have some catching up to do! You definitely do not have to read the others before picking up this one, but I guarantee you'll want to pick them up after! Falling In Deeper is simply amazing and a great addition to any collections!
