Four books in one, who could ask for more? On the Hunt is a collection of four stories by Alexandra Ivy, Rebecca Zanetti, Dianne Duvall and Hannah Jayne. They are all beautifully written and give you a real taste of each of their writing styles. I have read previous books from all authors except for Hannah Jayne, which now I also have this talented author on my authors to read list.
On the Hunt revolves around hot Sentinel Mika Tanner and healer Bailey Morrell. Their relationship is strained to say the least because years ago they were engaged before Bailey bailed out. Now with Bailey missing Mika is forced to find the only one he has truly loved and together they have to learn some home truths. This story has plenty of suspense, action and a beautifully written story line to keep you going.
Scorpius Rising is the story of a deadly disease spreading across the country that microbiologist Nora Medina is trying to stop. She has to try and focus but now that she has to work with her sexy ex Deacan McDougall that is easier said than done. Working with time against them and unexpected enemies popping up there was nothing else to expect than a truly volcanic explosion. Its not very often you find a sexy romance book with quality medical issues that can make a book sound so realistic.
Phantom Embrace is about Yuri Sokolov who was born with the ability to see spirits. Yuri is immortal and is used to seeing passing spirits, but the the lovely Cat Seddon who haunts his home and dreams is more beautiful than anyone he has ever seen before. While Yuri and Cat try to form some sort of love connection there is a danger closing down fast on Yuri.
Stake Out, what can I say about this book? It has Vampires and Shape shifters, plus the usual bad guys. Nina LaShay is the beautiful vampire clothes designer who owns Drop Dead Clothing. Pike is her bird shifter boyfriend. Together with Nina's nephew Vlad they have to work through the mystery of who is the master vampire and why he is turning all her models into vampire. This book has plenty of energy and is a little comical at times too.
