What a truly heartbreaking and heartwarming story of secrets and
familial love and devotion. Helena, Lady Prestwick has a reputation as a very
proper woman and she will use that reputation to help her keep her deep, dark
secret. Baron Sebastian Thorne's reputation is in shreds but he is determined
to win over society for the sake of his younger sister. Witnessing these two
interact was a treat, they both have so much love for their family and have
such deep feelings for one another. I loved how this story moved beyond the
upper classes and gave details of some various different classes at this time.
The details were beautifully woven in the story without distracting from the
entertainment and the flow of the story. I enjoyed meeting so many of the
characters in this story and am hoping to catch up with them again in some new
adventures. It has been days since I completed reading this story and
yet I
find myself still thinking about it and smiling.
