I love historical romances by Katie MacAlister! She has the most engaging writing
style that keeps me smiling even when the spunky heroines I am
reading about are facing turmoil and tension. Plum is one of those
fantastic leading ladies. Even when things are not going as she hoped
she's optimistic and I couldn't help but cheer her on knowing if
anyone could get just what they wanted it would be her. Lord Harry
Rosse is practically perfect with just the right amount of realistic
features as to not seem caricature-like. He isn't flawless but he is
an ideal match for Plum. the children and the staff kept my eyebrows
in a permanently arched state and choking on laughter. It has been a
few days since I finished this story and I'm still smiling which is
why Katie MacAlister has a permanent spot on my must-read list and
should be on yours too.
