I never
knew Katie MacAlister wrote historical novels and I’m so glad that
I stumbled on to this one! I love this author’s witty style. The
dialogue in her paranormals always leaves me chuckling out loud and
this one was just as pleasing and left me laughing and snickering
quite often. I believe Gillian is my favorite heroine ever! I can
easily identify with her clumsiness and her coloring. And I believe I
might even share her Unfortunate Habit. I couldn't stop the happiness
I felt at reading this story, Gillian's actions and attitude left me
smiling long after the last page was just a memory. I know that I
will reread this one over and over again. Noble is everything you
dream of in a rakish hero. He's just this side of taciturn yet loses
his control when dealing with his feelings for a certain unusual
young lady. I am so happy to learn that this is the first in a series
and have already added the new ones to my to-be-read pile and the
author to top of my historical favorites list. If you love laughter
and love than this one comes highly recommended by me.
