I
have never wanted to challenge a fictional heroine for a man before
but I would definitely arm wrestle or even mud wrestle Ellis Garrett
for sexy Detective Michael Edwards. Only problem is even if I beat
her I’m not sure Mikey would be interested as it seems he’s
already met his match. I love when my heroines are curvy and Ellis is
a fantastic leading lady with a wonderful mixture of confidence and
insecurity. She’s brilliant but not too smart when it comes to her
love life. Mike is amazing once I got over the bad first impression
he made but I think what were at first perceived at flaws eventually
became his most admirable qualities. I loved the supporting cast
especially Ellis’ parents. I loved the style and humor with which
this book was written, I think I might have just found another name
to add to my must-read list.
