When Deanna
Brooks is dragged by her best friend to one of Deanna's Aunt Carol's book signings she is really pretty
unenthusiastic-she still hadn't even read any of her aunt's books. She is
equally unimpressed by the 'Vampire cover-god', Burney Sheridan that her friend
gushes over. That is, until she falls into his arms and becomes the object of
his utmost fascination.
Burn having
become somewhat jaded with life as a lone wolf- has lately began wanting
something more fulfilling. Then at one of the book signings he is making an
appearance at he scents his mate of the soul. If only he could tell which of the
numerous girls in the place it is. Then when she finally falls into his lap-literally-he finds himself having to fight his way past her hang-ups in hopes of making the connection.
This was a pretty cute read. I wasn't over the moon for it like I thought I was going to be when I read the blurb for it, but I enjoyed it none the less. Overall I would give it 4 stars.
